  • I bought a season pass for this year, how do I get it?

Come pick up your season pass at the ticket window your first day on the mountain! We’re also working on a few local area pickup dates, so stay tuned! Tickets/passes will NOT be mailed.

  • What is an RFID card?

New this year, your RFID card will be your way to access everything on the mountain! We will have scanners at each lift that require an RFID card to ride. Your RFID card is purchased one time and has your season pass/ticket information on it. RFID cards can be reused and reloaded with tickets, passes, and rental information as needed. DO NOT throw away your RFID Card! A $5 fee will be applied to replace damaged or lost RFID cards. RFID cards are scannable through jackets/pockets; we recommend keeping them in a zipped chest pocket on your coat for ease of scanning.

  • I lost my Season Pass/RFID Card, what should I do?

Replacement RFID cards for lost or damaged cards are $5. You can purchase RFID Cards on the estore (estore.antelopebutte.org) or at the ticket booth.

  • If I already have an RFID Card, can I give it to others to use when I am not using it?

NO, each RFID card is personalized to you. Every individual accessing the mountain MUST have their own RFID card! To be clear… your skiing and riding privileges are NOT transferable to others.

  • How do I sign up for programs?

Go to our estore (estore.antelopebutte.org). Register a new account if you don't already have one. Find the tile for the program you wish to sign up for.

Select the correct 1st date for the session you want to participate in and add it to your cart. If you choose an option with rentals you will have to fill out some information before checking out, please make this as accurate as possible so we can set your gear properly!

  • I signed up for a program that comes with a discounted season pass, how do I buy that season pass?

Once you have already purchased the program, you can go back to our estore (estore.antelopebutte.org) and find the discounted season pass under the “Season Pass” tile. The season pass MUST be used for the program participant and the program MUST already have been purchased for the estore to recognize that you are eligible for the discounted season pass.

  • Corporate Season Passes; how do they work?

A corporate season pass is one season pass designed to be shared among your business or organization. Depending on how many people plan to use it, will determine how many passes you will need to purchase. (10 or less employees: 2 passes), (11-50 employees: 4 passes), (51 or more employees: 6 passes). Team members from your organization will then present the physical pass at the ticket booth in exchange for a day ticket. One day ticket will be issued per pass, per day. Their day ticket will be loaded onto a personal RFID card as each individual must sign a waiver, if they have not already done so. Anyone using a corporate season pass MUST come to the ticket booth first to redeem their pass each time they wish to redeem. They CANNOT go straight to the lift.

  • What are your IndyPass blackout dates?

  • What is your uphill policy? And can I bring my dog?

We are open to the paying public from 9 AM - 4 PM on Wednesday through Sunday, and daily during holiday periods. Complimentary uphill access to our USFS permitted footprint area including skinning, carrying skis and snowboards, snowshoeing (and/or any other personally and non-powered method of conveyance) will be limited to non-operating hours or days on our specifically designated route. There will be no charge for uphill travel that complies with these policies.

All uphill users utilizing the ski area’s patrol (in-bounds) serviced terrain must begin to return to the base no later than 15 minutes prior to opening of the first lift of the day. If you’re out there on non-ski area USFS terrain, then there’s no time limit (and no rescue services even when we’re open). To be clear - if you’re within the ski area boundary, then you must be back at the base area by 9 AM when we open for the paying public. Dogs who are under your vocal control or on a lead at all times will be allowed to accompany uphill skiers, riders or snowshoers within the time allotted for uphill traffic only (within the ski area boundary). Ski Patrol and resort employees will enforce these restrictions.

Once we open the ski area for the paying public, all dogs must be on a lead and must be returned to (your vehicle and/or the parking lot). There are no dogs allowed in the lodge, on the trails, or in the base area (within the ski area boundary) while we are in operation… and PLEASE clean up after your dog at all times… ‘cuz we hate seeing pee and poop on our beautiful white snow surfaces… thank you!

  • What is considered out of bounds?

All specified trail / tree-skiing area closures within the ski area boundary are considered legal closures. The ski area and the County Sheriff's office will work together to enforce closures within the ski area boundary. Trail and tree area closures may be marked with the international ”Closed” sign and/or ropes. Trails and tree areas that have not opened for the season are considered closed.

The “Final Exam” section (East Side)… most of this area is considered “in bounds,” but is not regularly patrolled throughout the day and is lightly swept and closed at 3 PM on days it’s open and accessible. Cell / WiFi coverage is very limited at best. We strongly advise that you tackle this challenge only if you’re well-prepared and highly skilled, and that you never undertake this challenge alone. We recommend the use of helmets, shovels, beacons, probes, and partners, and that you’re well-informed as to avalanche potential and tree well and snow-immersion suffocation potential. The lowest section (below the cutback) will be considered out of bounds and you’ll be beyond our service area.

The “West Side” section (toward State Route 14)… most of this area is considered “in bounds,” but is not regularly patrolled throughout the day and is lightly swept and closed at 3 PM on days it’s open and accessible. We recommend the use of helmets, shovels, beacons, probes, and partners, and that you’re well-informed as to avalanche potential and tree well and snow-immersion suffocation potential. The lowest section (below the cutback) will be considered out of bounds and you’ll be beyond our service area.

Accessing the area beyond our marked boundary (ex. lower out-of-bounds areas and/or hiking to the true Antelope Butte summit at 9,850’) is done at your own risk, and these areas are not patrolled or serviced, and cell / WiFi coverage is very limited at best.

  • Why are day/half day tickets cheaper online?

To dramatically reduce lift ticket lines and for our operational planning purposes, we want to encourage everyone to pay ahead online. It will keep everything moving faster and smoother on the mountain! By buying online and in advance, everyone can save time and money!

  • Do you have gift cards?

Unfortunately, gift cards are not available at this time.

  • Can I rent just ski boots?

NO. We personally torque test every single one of our ski bindings every season to ensure they meet the proper safety standards. Because we cannot ensure when your personal bindings were last torque tested/meet the proper safety regulations, we are legally not authorized to set our boots to your bindings. For this same reason, we can not work on your personal skis or set your bindings, sorry!

  • I'm taking a lesson, so do I still need a lift ticket?

Yes, lessons DO NOT include lift tickets or rentals unless explicitly stated in your school program or snowsports school agreement.

  • I already have my RFID card and I just bought a ticket online; do I still need to stop by the ticket booth for anything?

If you already have your RFID card, you are able to reload your card with tickets, passes, etc. online. If you don't need rentals and your RFID card is loaded for THAT day in question, then you may go straight to the lifts and skip the ticket line altogether!

  • DOGS, DOGS, what about my dog?

Once we open the ski area (within the ski area boundary) for the paying public each day, all dogs must be on a lead and must remain at (your vehicle and/or the parking lot). There are no dogs allowed in the lodge, on the trails, or in the base area (within the ski area boundary) while we are in operation… and PLEASE clean up after your dog at all times… ‘cuz we hate seeing pee and poop on our beautiful white snow surfaces… thank you!

See previous section about uphill access which has very specific info about dog access prior to operating hours.
